Announcements:
The strategic planning meeting is today from 4 to 7 at the Smiths house.
Ottie Otterstein was announced as the nominee for president elect. Pam Patton moved that the nomination be accepted. Bob Volger seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
Luciana is out of school and a request was made for members t host activities for her.
Exciting Happenings:
Sandi Bardwell won the fowers this week for wearing her pin. Don't forget to wear yours and enter the drawing!
Program: Women's Council of HBASC
Andrea Clough presented an informative program on the Women's Council of the Home Builders Association of Southwest Colorado. Newly formed for the Southwest Colorado area, the Women's Council is part of a Noational organization that not only supports the local HBA, but also provides a seperate organization focused on enriching the professional and personal lives of its members. The Council offers many educational opportunities to the community as well as the builders, providing scholarships, seminars, and workshops.
